Topocad mining and tunnelling calculation is a powerful tool. It is part of Topocad module Volume section. The tunnel is scanned with a scanner and the scan data calculated in Topocad Point cloud module. You start by creating the profile of a tunnel, using one or more section templates to calculate all types of volumes towards the scan. Topocad makes is possible to calculate the volumes inside and outside the theoretical section, such as the geological overprofile. Tunnel sections can have can vary in appearance and size which makes it the most easily adapted in order to calculate ramps or side leap in tunnels.

Topocad has full support for 3D which makes it easy to draw a tunnel in three dimensions and stake out data is created in a conventional manner. Net adjustment calculations is fast and easy even for tunneling and mining measurement.
